Friends of Warriors’ Path State Park, a group of concerned citizens, decided to help the Park by establishing a non-profit organization to improve, protect, and preserve Warriors’ Path State Park through user ideas, funding, and volunteer labor. It is important to note that any money you give to Friends goes directly to benefit Warriors’ Path State Park. Park facilities such as the golf course, campsites, and rentals do generate revenue; however this money goes into the state’s overall budget for all TN State Parks. Monies returned to the Warriors’ Path budget are not adequate to meet current or future needs for maintenance and improvements. And that is where Friends comes in – to provide to the Park for things beyond just the operating budget.

Hey, Lady Golfing Friends!

For our 3rd Annual Golf Classic on October 10, we have created a new Women’s Division.  Our goal is to have at least 7 women’s teams and to provide 1st, 2nd and 3rd place team prizes for this division. We don’t have 7 women’s teams registered yet!

Please help us spread the word to any women golfers you know or sign up your own women’s team!

We have filled up prior to the tournament the last 2 years so make sure you put a reminder on your calendar to register in advance!  Click here for information or to register!

Spring 2025 Day of Caring a Huge Success!

Friends of Warriors’ Path have been hosting the volunteer days at Darrell’s Dream Boundless Playground for 18 years now!  Weather on Saturday, April 26, was a concern due to some rain forecasted and some dark clouds as we gathered.  However, approximately 200 volunteers turned out in force and worked right through the shower we had during the morning, resulting in over 700 volunteer hours being worked at the Playground.  Many hands made the work go faster, and we were able to open the Playground back up to the public earlier than the 3 pm estimated time!

Schedule Changes for Boundless Playground

It takes a lot of work to maintain such a great facility so please be aware of these times as you plan to visit the Playground!

Monday – April 21

Playground is open but the entry pavilion is getting a new coat of paint!

Tuesday – April 22

Playground will be CLOSED 8 am until noon for pressure washing of structure roofs.

Saturday – April 26

Playground will be CLOSED 7 am – 3 pm for annual Day of Caring with volunteers doing repairs and maintenance. Join us! Any age can help.

New Raptor House!

Thanks to your support, Friends of Warriors’ and the Park Staff have been able to partner and provide a new facility for the Raptors used in Ranger Marty Silver’s educational programs!  As soon as the finishing touches are added and the facility is approved by the State, the raptors can again be showcased in educational programs. Your donations have made this possible.
