Current Projects
- Handrail at start of trail behind overflow campground needs to be repaired/replaced
- Spring House near start of Sinking Waters trail needs to be repaired/replaced
Darrell’s Dream Boundless Playground
- Reconstruct (2) Wardrobes on Braille Trail (Need sponsors for supplies, construction cost)
- Work closely with park to inspect, maintain and replace playground equipment as needed
- Sponsors for Events (Movie Night, Concert, Comedy or Educational Events)
- Volunteers to assist with playground cleaning, maintenance and landscaping
Disc Golf
- Donations and volunteers to build a shelter to use for tournaments
- Assistance with hosting Ice Bowls to help Second Harvest Food Bank.
- Construct 9 additional disc golf holes to make two 18 hole courses
Golf Course
- Construct three on-course restrooms, ideally at holes 4, 8 and 13
- Construct or purchase tournament scoreboard
Soccer
- Install electrical hook-up for storage shed
- Install walking / ADA Perimeter Trail around soccer fields
Rowing Club
- Construct floating dock for boat access on duck island
- Construct indoor storage facility for boats
Mountain Biking
- Trailhead parking lot re-engineered to redirect excess waterflow to prevent surface wash away – waiting for a quote on this
Naturalist Programs
Funding for guest speakers for nature programs (approx. $200 each)
- January – Winter Garden Seminar
- April – Spring Nature Festival
- June – Dragonfly Day
- July – Folklife Festival
- December – Adopt-a-Tree
