Friends of Warriors’ Path State Park, a group of concerned citizens, decided to help the Park by establishing a non-profit organization to improve, protect, and preserve Warriors’ Path State Park through user ideas, funding, and volunteer labor. It is important to note that any money you give to Friends goes directly to benefit Warriors’ Path State Park. Park facilities such as the golf course, campsites, and rentals do generate revenue; however this money goes into the state’s overall budget for all TN State Parks. Monies returned to the Warriors’ Path budget are not adequate to meet current or future needs for maintenance and improvements. And that is where Friends comes in – to provide to the Park for things beyond just the operating budget.

Happy Halloween at Warriors’ Path State Park Campground!

The annual campground Halloween event was hosted on Friday, October 25, by Park Staff and Friends of Warriors’ Path!  A great time was had by all as you can tell from the pictures.  We are sharing just a couple here, but you can see them all at this link. Thanks to Sonic for donating and serving a LOT of hot dogs for hungry kids and families!

You Asked – We Delivered

We have photos of birds and animals seen at Warriors’ Path Park featured and for sale at the marina.  These are excellent quality images captured by local photographer, Belinda Bridwell.  She has donated these to Friends of Warriors’ Path at her cost with all proceeds going to benefit Park projects.

You asked for another landscape shot of the Park, and Belinda has provided a great one.  Stop by – it would look beautiful on your wall!  And if someone beats you to it, let us know so we can order one just for you.

Friends Hanging Out at ETSU

Friends of Warriors’ Path was set up at ETSU’s Scoop on Faith and Service today from 10 am until 2 pm talking with students.  Last year 50 ETSU students showed up to help at Darrell’s Dream Boundless Playground Day of Caring!  We always appreciate the student volunteers.
