Boating/Paddle Boats

The marina, located on Patrick Henry Lake, is open year round but closed on Mondays and Tuesdays during the off-season. The marine has 2 boat ramps, 50 slips, fuel, canoes, paddle boats, kayaks, fishing boats, and a snack bar.

Camping

Warriors' Path State Park consists of two spacious campgrounds. The Main Campground has 94 sites with water and electric (minimum of 30 amps at each site). Many of the sites are large enough to fit most RV's with slide outs.

Darrell's Dream Boundless Playground

Darrell's Dream, a Boundless Playground, is a unique play area that provides fun and learning opportunities for children of all ages and all abilities. It is a three-acre complex.

Disc Golf

Disc golf, or Frisbee Golf, is a precision flying disc game. Established in 1980, the disc golf course at Warriors’ Path State Park features 27 holes with a balance of open and wooded holes, elevation changes, and varying lengths.

Duck Island

Duck Island is a recreational island featuring many activity and sports entertainment areas such as shelter rentals, a tennis court, horseshoes, volleyball, basketball, and paved walking trails. 

Fishing

Year round fishing at Warriors' Path will provide an opportunity to catch bass, bluegill, catfish, carp, and rainbow trout. A Tennessee fishing license is required for all persons between the ages of 13 to 62.

Golf Course

Warriors' Path has one of the finest par 72-championship 18-hole golf courses in the state of Tennessee. If you are a bit rusty, there is a driving range and a putting green located next to the Pro Shop.

Hiking

Over 15.5 miles of hiking trails, from rugged to easy, meander through park forests, fields, and wetlands. These are the best places to experience park scenery and wildlife. Walking trail at Duck Island is fully accessible.  

Horse Stables

Warriors' Path offers a good 2 miles of horseback riding along scenic woodland trails. Qualified staff guides, trail rides, and pony rides for children are also offered. Boarding for horses is available for a monthly fee.

Master Gardeners

Northeast Tennessee Master Gardeners became involved at Warriors’ Path State Park in 2006 to help maintain the plantings at the new Boundless Playground. Today, they continue to maintain and beautify the park.

Meeting Rooms/Areas

A Recreation/Meeting Room building is located at Warriors' Path State Park. The meeting room is equipped with tables and chairs and can seat up to 100 people. It has bathrooms, a game room, and water fountains.

Mountain Biking

Bicycles are welcome on park roads and many bikers enjoy the paved path around Duck Island. There are over 11.5 miles of scenic and challenging biking trails available for public use throughout the park's back country.

Naturalist Programs

Picnic Areas

Warriors' Path is by far one of the most popular picnic areas in the state. Thirty-seven picnic tables with grills are scattered along the lakeshore. The park offers five picnic pavilions and a recreation building for rent.

Special Needs

Every addition to the Boundless Playground has applied Universal Design principles from the start, so that people of all abilities can interact equally, regardless of individual challenges or specific disabilities. 

Swimming Pool

Warriors' Path has an Olympic-sized swimming pool adjacent to the camping area. The pool is opened Memorial Day through mid-August. There is a small charge to access the pool. Lifeguards are on duty during swimming hours.
