Day of Caring

Twice a year Warrior’s Path State Park and Darrell’s Dream Boundless Playground host a “Day of Caring”. A work day is scheduled every Spring and Fall and its purpose is to maintain Darrell’s Dream Boundless Playground.

Each year Volunteers take up the monumental task of pressure washing all buildings, making repairs and maintenance to all equipment, signage and interactive exhibits, and more. In addition, landscaping, herb garden, rain garden, wildflower walk, and the entire complex’s grounds are maintained.

It is very important to Friends of Warriors’ Path State Park and Tennessee State Parks that all volunteer hours are tracked as it demonstrated the community’s support for the park and how staff efforts are augmented.
